Railroad Accident
   The Savannah Republican of the 12th says on Monday afternoon last the passenger (down train) of the road run over a cow, two miles West of Station No. 8, throwing the engine and tender off the track. The express and mail cars were thrown off. Much damage was done to the goods in the express cars. The mail car was considerably injured, having its trucks knocked from under it. Two firemen were somewhat injured.
