Accident on the Jackson Railroad

About half-past 9 o'clock last night, the
down train on the Jackson railroad met with an accident, fifty miles
above the city, but fortunately no one was injured. The engine, tender
and one of the passenger cars ran off the track. A delay of two hour was
occasioned, and then relief reached the broken-up train. The cause of
the mishap was unknown. |
