| Summary Punishment |
| Gen. Beauregard has caused
three traitors to be hung recently -- having first received the most
indubitable evidence of their treachery. One of the parties was an
engineer on the Manassas Gap railroad, another a preacher of the
Gospel, and the third a farmer. They had furnished valuable aid to the
enemy. |
