| A Strange Discovery |
| We learn from our friend Col. John Banks,
the able President of the Austin & Brenham Air Line Railroad, that
in a cut of the road West of Brenham, at the depth of fourteen feet,
and under a stratum of limestone, was found a large quantity of human
bones, covering a space of thirty by fifty feet. ***** |
