| The Manassas Railway Connection |
| The Virginia House of Delegates has passed
a bill to authorize a connection between the Orange & Alexandria
and Manassas Gap Railroads, and the Richmond, Fredericksburg &
Potomac Railroad. This connection has been urged as a military
necessity, and the commanding generals of the army of the Potomac
cordially approve the scheme. |
