| Chatham Coalfields Railroad |
| At a meeting of the Commissioners
appointed for opening Books of Subscription to the above Road, the
following resolution was adopted: |
| Resolved, That Books of Subscription for
Stock in said Company be forthwith opened at the Bank of Cape Fear, in
the City of Raleigh, under the Superintendence of Wm. H. Jones." |
