| The Roanoke and Valley Railroad

| Mr. Beuch, of Halifax, offered
the following resolution in relation to the Roanoke and Valley Railroad |
| "Resolved, That the Committee
on Roads and Internal Navigation, be instructed to enquire into the
expediency of reporting a bill authorizing the Roanoke Valley railroad
company to foreclose the mortgage on the road from Clarksville to the
Raleigh & Gaston road." |
