Engine Washington at Fredericksburg |
The "Washington," a large locomotive
engine, left by the Yankees at Fredericksburg, at the time of the
general evacuation of that place some months ago, has been brought to
this city, and is now at the {Virginia} Central depot. The tender of the "machine"
is interestingly inscribed with epigrammatic selotillations of Yankees
within which the "rebels are made of suffer mournfully. |
