| The Southwestern says: |
| The Police Jury of Caddo
parish, at a recent meeting, appointed L. M. Nutt, Esq. a delegate to
Monroe, to endeavor to have detached from the Vicksburg, Shreveport
& Texas Railroad all that portion of said road lying west of Red
river, with the view of connecting with the Southern Pacific Railroad. |
