The Nashville & Chattanooga road still continues to move
off freight with great facility. They are now enabled to reach
freight in 12 days after arrival here, with the time lessening
daily. So it is fair to presume that in the course of two weeks more
they will be enabled to receive and forward direct, which will
relieve many of the unavoidable extra charges of $1.10 per ton. |
