The {Nashville &}
Chattanooga road now rapidly gaining on her accumulated freights. So
much so that we are of the opinion that early next week they will be
able to receive and forward direct, without additional cost to
owners of freight. We have been a close observer of the doings of
this road, and can say, during their entire block, they have used
every exertion to facilitate transportation. So, now the great rush
is about to terminate, we would say although the officers of this
road have been subject to censure, it has been uncalled for upon
their parts, that is, if untiring industry be a palliation. |
