Covington Rail Mill Company |
This company is now prepared with the best new and
improved machinery to fill orders for rerolling Railroad Bars as the
shortest notice, as the Mill has the capacity to turn out 180 tons a
week. |
In rerolling Railroad Bars, one third new iron is added
to the old, to make a Rail that will not laminate and insure a
perfect weld. |
Street Railroad Bars can also be furnished, of any
pattern required, and new Railroad Bars of different lengths and
sizes. |
All orders shall receive prompt and careful attention,
and as none but the best materials will be used in the hands of
skillful workmen, the Company hope to give entire satisfaction to
those who may favor it with their custom. |

{This notice is included as an indication of
what the newest re-rolling mills were doing. There was great need
for re-rolling mill capacity in the South and several mills were
started, but none progressed to serious construction.} |
