Railroad Collision
One Man Killed, Many Injured
   We find in the Vicksburg Whig, of the 21st:
   A terrible collision occurred on the railroad four miles east of Knoxville, Tenn. {East Tennessee & Virginia RR}, yesterday evening. The train going east had the company of Natchez Rifles on board. This company, you will recollect, went up on the Mary Boone two weeks ago. By the accident, (if it ay be called an accident,) Mr. Ogden was killed; Mr. Dicks had his leg badly fractured, is badly cut about the head and face, and has a splinter through his hand; Mr. Darren had a leg fractured, and is badly bruised; Mr. Walker had an arm fractured, and is badly cut about the face; Mr. Manufield is bruised; Mr. Blackburn had an arm bruised; Mr. Mosely an arm fractured; E. Green, badly injured; Mr. Fanning, leg compound fracture; Mr Buck, knee badly injured and face bruised; Mr. Hanlding, bruised slightly; Mr. Spangler, bruised badly; Mr. Ellis, bruised badly; Frank Smith, eyes badly cut and ankle sprained; T. Green, bruised; Mr. Knurkees, slightly; Mr. Perryman, leg and face bruised; Mr. Rife, head bruised; Mr. Reynolds, bruised; Mr. Riggs and Mr. Rabbits, slightly bruised.
   Capt. Alfred V. Davis and family were not on board. His servants, Frank and Harrison, were badly bruised. Those mentioned above are all of the Rifles who were hurt.
