| Washington, Oct. 6 Richmond papers of
Saturday have been received here. |

| Locomotives and Rolling Stock Captured |
| The railroad bridge over the
Rappahannock was completed on Wednesday and the locomotives Hero and Old
Abe and a few others were brought safely over to the rebel side together
with large quantities of rolling stock &c. Three of the locomotives
captured from the United States were in good order while others need
repairs. |
