Our Railroad |
The Louisiana Baptist, of the
14th inst., says, the stockholders of the V., S., & T. Railroad
{Vicksburg, Shreveport & Texas RR} have
bought out the late contractors. They also bought ninety negroes, who
were at work on the road at the time. We learn they will put those hands
to work immediately west of Monroe, and contemplate bridging the
Ouachita during the summer. |
