Three More Powerful War Dogs |
At the Junction yesterday,
says the Petersburg Express of the 20th, three immense guns were
transferred from the {Richmond &} Danville
to the South Side Railroad. A gentleman present says they were the
largest he has ever seen, each measuring over twelve feet in length, the
size of bore being in proportion. They were manufactured in Richmond at
the Tredegar Iron Works, and are destined for the State of Alabama. They
go by the Virginia, East Tennessee and other connecting railroads, to
their place of destination. |
