| Florida and Georgia Railroads |
| The case of the Florida,
Atlantic & Gulf Central Railroad Company vs. the Pensacola
& Georgia Railroad Company, was yesterday decided by the Supreme
Court in favor of the latter company -- thus affirming the decision of
the court of law, which refused an injunction restraining the
Pensacola & Georgia Railroad Company from building a branch road
to the Georgia line east of the Alapaha river. This decision by the
highest judicial tribunal known to the Constitution settles the matter
finally. |
