| The Indianola Courier {Indianola,
Tex.} notices the steady progress of work on the railroad {the
Indianola RR} to connect that town with the railroad from
Lavaca to Victoria {the San Antonio &
Mexican Gulf RR}. The grade has reached the depot in the town;
in a short time the bridge over the bayou will be finished and the
cross-ties laid over it; and then the spanning of the culverts on the
upper part of the grade will be commenced. |
