The energetic managers of the
Texas & New Orleans Railroad, are making every effort to have the
division of their road between Beaumont and Orange speedily repaired and
placed in running order, the only drawback thus far has been the
scarcity of laborers to do the work. This road is one of the most
important of any in the State to our miiltary authorities and we trust
they will see the importance of its speedy repairs. The cars can be
running through in a few weeks if the necessary assistance is given
them. |
