| At a meeting of the Cheraw & Coalfields
Railroad Company, on the 8th inst., the following gentlemen were elected
for the present year: Col. Allan Macfarlan, President; and A. J. White,
A. F. Ravenel, Rob't N. Gourdin, D. L. McKay, Thomas Smith, Caleb Coker,
