| Two thousand troops were sent
from here today & five trains with troops were sent via Wilmington.
After my despatch this afternoon a few of Gen Lons men got off in the
city & created some excitement by threatening the Standard. They were
promptly arrested & left with their regiment. Will send you by mail
tomorrow a report on the subject. |
