| I am in very great need of pig iron to
build cars, ??? ??? ago you promised to furnish me with 200 tons if
consistent with other demands of the service. Of this I have received
about ??? tons "California" and there
are about 14 tons ????? |
| I learn that there now is quite a quantity
of pigs between Staunton and Grahams(?) and I would respectfully ask for
an order to turn over to me say 175 tons If the order is addressed to
Maj. James without specifying the furnace I am quite sure he could furnish
it. |
