| You must make arrangements to get wood
from some else besides Mr Jones. He has a difficulty with the O. &
A. RRd Co {Orange & Alexandria RR} in
which it appears to me Mr Jones is to blame, but I do not wish to
judge between them and therefore intend to have Mr Jones wood where it
is and let them settle between themselves. |
| Mr Vandergrift assures me that he is ready
to haul all the wood on his road that may be wanted where the road has
no claim on it. I have forward him a ??? of his road and advise you at
once to make your contract with parties not so objectionable. |
