surprised to hear you have sold the Javelin {an
Alabama & Florida (of Florida) RR locomotive} as all
rolling stock the property of the Government by agreement between
Genls Gilmer & Lawton was placed under my control. You will be
pleased in future to communicate with me before making any other sales
as it may interfere very materially with any dispatches I may wish to
make in the matter of purchase or sale.. |
