| I would respectfully ask that
the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac Rail Road be allowed the
tariff for freight established at Macon on the 25th of November last;
and for troops it be allowed five cents per man per mile. |
| The advance asked for is quite
moderate compared with the Southern roads and I trust will meet your
approval. |
