| I have received your letter of the 25th instant. |
| The draft drawn by you in my favor for $4,800 on Mr
George Young, Superintendent Georgia Rail Road, has been sent to Major
T. T. Winnemore at Augusta, Georgia, who will on its receipt forward you
duplicate receipts for the same, and for the Sixteen Dollars in cash, I
send the receipts of Lieutenant Colonel Cone. |
| The other drafts referred to in your note have been
sent to Lieutenant Colonel Larkin Smith, Assistant Quarter Master
General, who will forward you his receipt for them. |
