| The allowance of two thousand dollars has been made to
Campbell Wallace, Esq. for his services in superintending and managing
the East Tennessee & Virginia Rail Road in behalf of the Government,
under order issued by Gen. Zollicoffer |
| This amount will be deducted from the claims of that
road for transportation of Government freights, troops &c of which you
are hereby informed. |
