| You are requested to ascertain whether R.
O. Dudley Agt &c has been stationed at Alston in charge of the
forage Dept, as intimated in your letter of 14th ins. I concur in the
opinion expressed that the Agent in charge of that Depot, should be
assigned to transportation duties also, & the proper orders will
be given when the facts are reported. |
