| I have received a letter from Mr W M Wadley President
of the Vicksburg Shreveport & Texas RR Co. asking when his accounts for
the transportation of stores and supplies over that road is to be paid.
I have directed him to send the account to New Orleans. You will please
examine the same, and if found correct, you will estimate for the amount
required to pay it & the amount will be sent you in bonds of the
Confederate States. State the date to which the account is to be paid,
that the Bonds may be dated on that day, |
