| There is needed for the reconstruction
of the Government track in Petersburg Sixty one tons of T rail. I
desire that you will request the Secretary of the Navy to turn over
that quantity of the new T rail he has in the hands of J R Anderson
& Co to Capt Thos R Sharp AQM, who will replace it with an equal
quantity of refuse rail, which Anderson & Co are willing to receive
in lieu as it will answer their purpose as well. |
