| Asking a detail until further notice of ??? conscripts
named within to get wood & ties for Va. Central RR. Stating that if the
details are not granted the trains cannot run through the winter. |

me to approve of any further application for detail I see no prospect of
keeping this road in order to supply Genl Lee's army during the winter
without these men. |
