| Making extract from a letter of Virgil
Powers Supt South W. RR {South Western RR}
of Geo which says that his road will be completely broken up in six
months if the men now engaged to furnish cross ties & wood are taken
from him. The recent laws must be relaxed in favor of RRd Companies or
the trouble of transportation will be vastly increased. |
