application has been made to the Hon Secretary of War by Mr A M Gentry
of Houston Prest of the No & Tex Rail Road to have Lt Jesse W Sparks C.
S. Infantry detailed as an Engineer on the Extension of said R. R.
through Louisiana. |

that some other officer be detailed if necessary in pace of Lt. Sparks
who is now serving on my staff as aid de Camp. |
