Bureau, thro. the city connecting the two Roads, was run through a
valuable property of mine. |
| Your Agt. Col. Jones, & myself
cannot agree upon the amt. of damage due me. |
| I consider I am damaged to a
much larger amt. than I claim, but have agreed to take ($10,000.--) Ten
thousand dollars for damage & right of way during the War. |
| As you are conversant with
the facts, & know the property, it is unnecessary for me to say more,
than to respectfully ask you to pay my claim. |
