| Ordered that the Superintendent be

Fredericks Hall and another at Greenwood |
| Ordered, that the President and
Superintendent be authorised to negotiate for putting up a second
wire between Richmond and Gordonsville so as to avoid any break in
the communications between Richmond and Staunton |
| The Board took into consideration the
propriety of making to Thos Dodamead late Supt on the Road some
consideration for the quarter on which he had entered, and although
it is their opinion that he has no right to claim anything and is
not in fact claiming anything beyond the time he actually was in the
service of the Company. They have authorised the President to pay to
him the sum of $275 which it is understood is to be in full
discharge of all claims |
