| Resolved, that the President at his
discretion be authorised to make any appropriations not exceeding
Forty thousand Dollars, that the Rail Road Convention to be held
shortly in this City may recommend for the purchase of necessary
articles for the Road. |
| Resolved that the President be
authorised at his discretion to unite with other Railroads in
pledging the patronage of this Road for the purpose of establishing
manufacturers of certain articles needed by the Road |
| Ordered, that the President and
Superintendent take such steps as they may deem best to secure the
prompt return of our Cars when taken off our Road and in the event
of not being to effect that object themselves they are authorised to
prevent the Cars being taken from the Road |
