| That the President be & he is hereby
authorized to negotiate with President of the North East & Southwest
Rail Road Co to lease from the Latter Company that portion of their Road
from Reagan to Meridian on such terms, and for such time as he may find
practicable and a?? best. |
| That the President take steps to invite
propositions for the Construction of a Bridge across the South Bukbun(?)
River on such plan as may be selected, having in view a good safe and
durable bridge, and to secure its completion at the earliest time
practicable, and if he deems it necessary that he advertise for
proposals in such newspaper or newspapers as he may deem best. |
