| I only know of this road from a
single newspaper advertisement for construction in 1862. The road was
evidently needed to connect the Galveston, Houston & Henderson RR to
the city of Houston (the road running slightly to the east of the city).
Since there was no reason for the road to not be completed, I'm
including it.
