| I beg leave herewith to tender
you my resignation as Treasurer & Auditor of the Brunswick &
Albany RR Co, to date from the 30th inst. I have determined to attach
myself to the Confederate Army is my reason for resigning. |
| My accounts have been made up
to the 1st July last & they were examined by Maj Williams & Mr
J B Campbell in Milledgeville & they expressed themselves
perfectly satisfied with the correctness of my accounts. |
