Mr. Robt Hall   {Shelby Iron Works}

Dear Sir,
   I have engaged an extra train to bring you 3000 Bu corn {about 13 car loads} today but will defer going after it till I receive further orders from you. I would suggest the propriety of getting the corn and as early as practicable as when the trains commence running again from here to Meridian {on the Alabama & Mississippi Rivers RR} it will be very difficult to get cars the through business requiring all the rolling stock the road can command.
   I send you some vaccine matter to use in vaccinating your negros at the request of Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones has not yet got through with his business with Maj. Hunt and will remain here till he does. I shall send you about 40 more hands next week.
Yours Truly
J. M. Zillovan
