Dear Sir,
Yours of 17th is at hand & contents noted. I received two checks of you for $2000 each. I wrote Mrs. Tipton that I had the money to pay her for the corn. the lamps are not finished I will send them up as soon as I can get them. I will buy the fodder -- out on the Marion RR {Cahaba, Marion & Greensboro RR} as I can get cars to bring it out I will keep the 4 cars running all the time send them down as soon as possible. & I will send the corn up. I cant get a car from Lopez. a detail is unnecessary for myself, as long as the substitute law is good.
Respectfully
Yours
G. L. Tillman
