| The Washington County Rail Road Company
having fully completed the second section of their Road to Brenham
Fourteen miles in length, and put the said in running order, hereby
apply to your Hon. Board for a loan of $6000 per mile from the school
fund as provided for in section 5th of the loan law, and to which this
Company is entitled by the act passed for their relief, approved Jany
28, 1858, and also respectfully request the appointment of a competent
Engineer to examine and report upon the condition of said second
section. |
