Gentlemen, |
I have just seen & read the report of
the Engineer appointed to examine the Eastern Texas Rail road. You
will determine upon examination of the report accompanying papers
whether the Road is entitled to the loan it seeks. If you grant them
the warrant, I will counter sign these on my return to Austin. I see
nothing else to be done by me but to counter sign these warrants &
that may be done when I get back. I will return at the earliest
possible moment. |
