To the Honorable Board of School Commissioners

Austin, Texas |
|
Gentlemen, |
Having reason to believe that there is
completed according to law a section of twenty-five miles of our Rail
Road and having in accordance thereof an additional section of twenty
five miles graded ready for laying down Rails. We would most
respectfully ask that your Honorable Board appoint an Engineer to
examine and report upon the same to you in view of our obtaining from
the school fund the loan of Six thousand dollars per mile which we
will be entitled to receive. |
Respectfully yours |
