   The Board of Directors of the Eastern Texas Railroad Company, at their meeting on the 4th ult adopted the following resolution to wit.
   "On motion it was resolved that the President of the Eastern Texas Railroad Company, is hereby invested with all the necessary power and authority to demand and recover from the Board of School Commissioners at Austin Texas, this Company's Mortgage Bond executed June 15th 1861 by H. H. Edwards former President and John Faber former Secretary of said Company, for the purpose of securing a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars and filed with said School Commissioners by Isaac R. Cornell."
   Acting by virtue of the above power and authority I demand said Bond, and request you to deliver the same to George T. Moore, who is our Attorney and authorized to represent and act for us in this matter.
