| I believe that if I were permitted to
examine the books of the Southern {(of
Mississippi)} RR Co from the 1st Decr to the present time, so
that I could get a statement of the shipments of all sugars over
their road within this time, that I will be enabled to show to you
that when one pound of Govt sugar has been shipped, five pounds of
private sugars have gone over the road. To enable me to make the
investigation I respectfully request that you will give me an order
to that effect. |
