Everything is in the utmost confusion on
the North Carolina Railroad, and I can get no satisfactory answer
from the Wilmington & Weldon road about transportation corn. The
State holds a controlling interest in both. Cannot some arrangement
be made with the Governor by which a more efficient management can
be had?
