| At a meeting of the Directors
of the Wilmington, Charlotte & Rutherford Railroad, on last
Wednesday, the entire road from Rockingham to Charlotte {about
60 miles} was put under contract to Messrs. Drane, Singletary &
Co. It is to be finished in 18 months. |
