| The Board of Directors of the
Charlotte & South Carolina Railroad Company having declared a
dividend of Ten ($10) Dollars per share in Confederate States Treasury
notes, the same will be paid on Monday, the 5th instant, as follows |

District, at Bank in Winnsboro. |
| Shareholders in Chester and
West York, at Company's office in Chester. |
| Customers in North Carolina
and East York, at Company office in Charlotte, N. C. |
| All others at Company's Office
in Columbia. |
