| At the recent meeting of the stockholders
of this Road, held at Kinston, John D. Whitford, Geo. Green, John C.
Washington, and Henry F. Bond were elected Directors on the part of
the stockholders; and Dr. M. F. Arendell, J. W. Carmer, and R. W. King
were appointed a finance committee. The salary of the President was
advanced to $3,500 and that of the Secretary and Treasurer to $1,500. |
